Montana Visitors

My cousins came to visit us in Montana a few weeks ago.  We spent time in Bozeman and then they came to Helena.  We went hiking, horse back riding, shooting, and fishing.  Here are a couple pictures from that trip.

Jessie was not very happy with sitting on the horse this time.  She was very happy to be around the horses later in the day with her Grandpa.

Harvey Family Reunion

We had a great time at the Harvey family reunion at Bear Lake in Utah.  We had a triathalon and an iron man competition, went boating, shot shotguns, played golf, and spent a lot of time in the sun.

We started at the same time, but I think Reid's long arms gave him an advantage...

Reid won....of course

Jessie loved the pool.  This is where she took an interest in walking - She was running all around the kid pool!  Since then she wants to walk everywhere!

White Sandy Beach

Reid and I have been up to White Sandy a few times this year.  It is a campground with a great beach that is really close to our house.  While camping with Reid's cousins Preston and David, Megan and Liam we made a trip to the rope swing.  Below is Reid attempting a back flip.

Jessie LOVES the water!

My cousins Keith and Carissa and their kids came with Kraig and my aunt LaReta to visit Montana.  We took them to White Sandy to play on the beach and have a picnic.

Alaska

Reid and I had the opportunity to go to Ketchikan to visit our friends Jaylyn and Jeremy and to watch their kids while Jaylyn was gone for youth conference.  Jessie and I were there for 12 days and Reid was there for 7 days. We were able to go fishing, shrimping, hiking, and to spend time with our closest friends.   It was very special to share the excitement of our beautiful daughter with our Alaska family because they were there for us during the hardest part of our adoption journey.  Even though I am very happy to be living in Montana, near our family, it is hard not to miss the special relationships we made in Ketchikan.  I'm just so glad I can go and visit!

Jessie had a great time on the plane - and was a great sport as usual.

Jessie and I stayed in Logenn's room and this is where she slept - next to Logenn's baby doll.
