2 Teeth in 2 Days!

Montana Weekends

My brother came to town for the weekend so we took the kids fishing.  We didn't do a lot of catching, but we had a good time out in the sun by the water!

After laying sod all day Reid and I took Libby, Michael and Jessie to a baseball game.  It was a boring game so Jessie crashed!

I think it might actually be summer in Montana

Our friend, C.K., took us out for a little Jet Ski adventure today.  He needed to make sure they were in good running condition so they can be sold and being the good friends that we are, we thought we would lend a hand.  It was about 85 degrees today so it was perfect weather to play in the water - even Jessie and Gunner got wet!

A Fun Weekend

For Caroline's birthday she, Karmen, and Diane hosted a BBQ fundraiser for the Susan G. Koman 3 Day Walk For The Cure.  Reid and I didn't make it for dinner, but arrived just in time to watch them light sky lanterns!

On Saturday the fundraising continued with a garage sale at Jesse and Tricia's house.

It was really warm when we got back to Helena today so Jessie and I decided to play in the water.
Jessie loved laying in the sun

However, she did NOT like the sitting in the cold water!  This just goes to show you that she does cry occasionally!

Fire and Flood

Reid spent the last week in the woods for Guard Training.  He now has a Red Card which certifies him to fight forest fires.

Helena is flooding pretty bad, and we are living right in the middle of the worst part of it, however, we have been very blessed and the water has been going around us....until Reid left for Guard Training....
On Tuesday we found water in the basement of our rental so Reid had to come home for the afternoon to help me get the pumps set up....
We were lucky enough to catch it in time so we haven't had any damages.  Many of our neighbors have been under water for weeks and are living without running water or heat and have substantial damages to recover from.  We are happy to say that the pump has been running continuously since Tuesday and the water levels have gone down a little.  We are hoping to have seen the worst of it (although it just started raining again as I was typing this)!

8 Years Ago.....

Reid and I were married June 11, 2003 in the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork Utah

Reid's sisters and I wore the same wedding dress and embroidered our names and wedding dates on the train.  We were married on the same day as Reid's grandparents, his parents, and his brother (who was married 2 years after us).  These are my favorite Stovall traditions.

We both have a lot of extended family that live in Utah, so we decided to take our wedding to them rather than ask them to come to us in Montana.  It was a Wednesday, but we still had quite a few people at the temple.

What a handsom guy!

Flooding In Helena

This is the drive from Dave's Exon, on the corner of Montana Avenue and Mill Road, to our house on the north end of Kerr Drive.

This video goes from where we turned off of Mill Road onto our street, Kerr Drive, and follows Mill Road to the next street over from us, McHugh.  10 Mile Creek is where the flooding is coming from and it is just south of us on Mchugh.

This is going North on McHugh to Forestvale Rd which runs parallel with our road and Montana Avenue.  This shows the flooding that is one street West of our street, and running towards our house.

We had to go down to Sierra Road to get back on Montana from Forestvale.  This shows that the water is pooling up in the KOA campground and trailer park just north of our subdivision.  We are driving on Montana Avenue, South towards our house.  We end just before Dale's Sales.
