Years of waiting. Months of planning. And now, in one matchless moment, the miracle at last occurs. There is so much love in this place, and it's pure and it's true because none of the people in the room at this moment are as concerned about themselves as they are for one precious baby. Jessie Diane Stovall was born at 1:59am on Monday, November 22, 2010 and weighed 6 lbs 7.7 oz. She was born at Legacy Hospital in Vancouver Washington 4 weeks early and is healthy and strong. Stacey called us a few hours after she was born and Reid and I jumped on a plane and met our sweet baby girl late that night. We spent the the next two days with her in the hospital and were discharged to take her home on Wednesday, November 24th. Jessie was named Danielle Jamison by her birthparents, Stacey and Aaron. After the adoption is finalized we will apply for a new birth certificate with the name that we have chosen for her. Her middle name was chosen to honor Reid's mom, Diane, and her birthmother, Stacey Diane.
