Magdalena's Old Timers Reunion

In Magdalena the big party for the year happens the second weekend in July. They had a kids rodeo, stick horse rodeo, and street dance Friday. We also made a trip to San Antonio for a world famous green chile cheeseburger - yummy!

Saturday we watched a parade, ate fresh BBQ, watched some roping, and listened to live music.
We also visited the ghost town of Kelly and explored the old mine.

4th of July

For the 4th we went to a BBQ with friends and then watched the fireworks in Soccoro. Jessie Learned a new phrase while watching the firework show and has been saying it a lot. She says, "oh pretty!"

On Thursday Jessie and I met up with my cousins, Shawn and Amber and their family, and my uncle Scott and aunt Sandi in Albuquerque and visited the aquarium and botanical gardens. Jessie thought the jelly fish and the butterflies were "oh pretty!"
