4th of July
For the 4th we went to a BBQ with friends and then watched the fireworks in Soccoro. Jessie Learned a new phrase while watching the firework show and has been saying it a lot. She says, "oh pretty!"
On Thursday Jessie and I met up with my cousins, Shawn and Amber and their family, and my uncle Scott and aunt Sandi in Albuquerque and visited the aquarium and botanical gardens. Jessie thought the jelly fish and the butterflies were "oh pretty!"

Albuquerque Zoo
This was Jessie's first trip to the zoo! And even though I'm sure she won't remember it, I'm glad we came because she had a blast!
Her favorites were the zebras - she said "cool!" each time we stopped to see them, the elephants, gorillas, and the sea lions.

Camping on the beach
This weekends adventure was a camping trip at Elephant Butte State Park. We played in the water and had a nice fire on the beach with friends! This is my new FAVORITE type of camping! 
Fun at the Library
Every Friday and Saturday there are activities at the library for kids as part of their summer reading program.
