Ice Fishing with Jesse

Gunner loves to Ice Fish! He is even willing to pack the fish back to the truck.
We are not always mean to our dog!

Time is Flying

Sometimes, usually during the wee hours of the morning, I stress out about the things that I haven't done yet with/for Jessie.  And of all the things I should be worried about, the thing I stress the most about is the fact that I have not had professional pictures taken of her yet (she will be 3 months old next week).  And with the exception of the picture a nurse took, with my phone, of us leaving the hospital, we have not taken one single family picture.  So, while in Spokane for a cheer competition I asked my sister-in-law to take a few pictures of our new family.  I have plans to take more soon and will post them as well, but for now, here are our latest family pictures.  May you all sleep as well as I did after taking these!

The Bear

When we moved we left 90% of our household things in storage.  Gunner is a new addition to our family and had never seen Reid's brown bear rug before this video.....
He has since made his peace with the bear rug as you can see from the pictures below.  Look closely.  He is laying ON the rug.

To hang the bear, Reid had to use his engineering mind and build a platform over the stairs.  He even had help from his dad to get the job done.

She is smiling!

Every day Jessie is smiling more and more.  She looks so big in all these pictures, but she still weighs less than 10 pounds!  She is so cute and little, but growing fast!

Baby Shower

Jessie and I had a GREAT baby shower!  The theme was books and saying so each gift included a book and each person in attendance wrote advice, sayings, or prayers to put in a memory book for us.  We were totally SPOILED!  Thank you to everyone that came and to those who sent gifts in the mail.  We received a fish box FULL of baby stuff from our Alaska family too which was a really fun surprise.

Baby's 1st Christmas

Reid and I have always traveled to Bozeman for Christmas, but this year we were able to have Christmas at our house.  We moved into our house December 23rd and Reid's parents and my mom came up on Christmas Eve.  After getting a new house and a new baby there really wasn't much left on our Christmas list (or in our budget), so it was pretty easy to have a great Christmas with our family.

Jessie had a great time with her grandmas

Even Dally and Gunner had a great Christmas

Best present we could have under the tree this year!

Getting Started on Jessie's Room

Well, it is still pretty plain, but at least I have some GREAT paintings to hang up in Jessie's room!  I have curtains ordered and we're working on a few other things, but I thought I would show you the beginnings of our nursery.

Jessie's First Bath

Jessie did NOT like her first sponge bath, but she didn't seem to mind her first bath in the tub.  A big thanks to our wonderful photographer, Aunt Caroline, for making a great video and getting great still shots to help us document this milestone.
